Loraffe's Battery Operated Rodent Repellent is an Ultrasonic Pest Repellent designed for Vehicles. Rats, mice, squirrels, martens, chipmunks, and other destructive rodents often shelter under the hood of vehicles and damage wiring harnesses, cables, and other expensive parts. Loraffe's Under Hood Animal Repeller emits sonic waves and ultrasonic waves that cause intense auditory stress for animals or pests, as well as LED strobe lights that target their eyesight, creating a hostile environment under the bonnet and forcing them to move on and escape from your car.

The Rodent Repellent is easily activated by toggling the red ON/OFF button to the ON position, triggering a 3-second flash of the red indicator light and the strobe lights, signaling that the repellent is now active and operational. To power off and deactivate the repellent, simply toggle the red ON/OFF button to the OFF position.

The Ultra Mode of this battery-operated rodent repellent emits ultrasonic waves ranging from 25kHz to 55kHz (max. 100dB +/- 20%) through the speaker, inaudible to the human ear. Designed for maximum rodent effectiveness while minimizing audible noise for humans, the speaker's operational status is conveyed through distinct stages of a cycle with flashing or solid green lights.

For easy testing, users can seamlessly switch to Test Mode, converting ultrasonic waves into an audible sound that mimics the rodent experience. The flashing or solid green light serves as a clear indicator of the speaker's activity. Test Mode mirrors the working pattern of Ultra Mode, with the key distinction being the audibility of sounds to humans.

Designed for use in vehicles, this rodent repellent can also be utilized in other places such as attics, crawl spaces, garages, kitchens, storage rooms, etc. It works best in confined spaces, and the ultrasonic speaker and strobe lights should be open to the rest of the room and not blocked for the best results.

The Under Hood Rodent Repellent is designed for use in the engine compartment, the car interior, the trunk, or other indoor areas, featuring durable, fire-resistant materials capable of withstanding extreme under-hood conditions. It functions reliably within a temperature range of approximately -20°C (-4°F) to around 80°C (176°F). Operating it outside of this range can cause device damage, so it is essential to ensure that the device is not exposed to excessive heat and is not placed on or near the car engine, exhaust manifold, or any other high-temperature zones.
